PAMPA

"We feel the need of rediscovering and exploring culture. Our purpose is to rescue and support works of art that are nowadays fading away, because we value the importance of tradition and heritage. Pampa searches a route through art. Pampa believes that we are all connected by the same map."

Pampa is a word that means fertile earth, it originates from Quechua but has been adopted into the Spanish vocabulary. Their rugs are woven art pieces, unique products handcrafted within native communities of Argentina, people endowed with great knowledge, art, technique and humility. They come from the earth via a very natural process and their photography talks about the people, landscape and heritage behind these pieces. Their whole ethos is connected to nature and to those communities that still believe in a slow handmade process.

“We explore art. We preserve heritage. We empower culture.”
